The FD3 series dome is perfect for applications when protection for the camera and near-covertness is required.

The FD3 series dome is recommended for interior applications only. The dome is offered in a plastic vandal resistant housing with manual pan and tilt adjustment and is available as a high resolution color camera. The FD3 features a DC auto-iris 4-9mm varifocal lens allowing a wide range of camera field of view options to match the scene of interest. The auto-iris lens permits the camera to adjust automatically for changing light levels throughout the day and night.

The camera is powered from 24VAC or 12 VDC. The FD3 series camera is intended for surface mount applications, but may be mounted on ceilings and walls using the optional pendent mount.

The dome offers an unobtrusive appearance with a “no grab” design. The dome features a 3/4” conduit opening on the side of the housing.

Mount
The VDMWC is a versatile pendent mount designed for ceiling and wall applications for the FD3 series dome. The mount features an adjustable swivel head for camera positioning and a cable feedthrough hole to conceal the video and power cabling. The total drop down length is 15.5” using the straight pendent ceiling mount. The total drop down length is 10.2” with a wall offset of 8” using the 90° pendent wall mount.
