The Super High Resolution A-CD5D and A-CV5D Day/Night camera series is the newest family of performance based digital color dome cameras featuring the ADT brand.
 
The A-CD5 and A-CV5 Day/Night series employs a 1/3-inch SONY Super HAD CCD for superior picture quality with 540 TV Lines of resolution. This SONY based CCD camera features excellent low light sensitivity of 0.5 lux (color) and 0.01 lux (black/white) with digital Day/Night capability.
 
The A-CVF5T and A-CV5T TRUE Day/Night series employs a 1/3-inch SONY Super HAD Double-Scan CCD for superior picture quality with 580 TV Lines of resolution. This SONY based CCD camera features excellent low light sensitivity of 0.5 lux (color) and 0.04 lux (black/white) and 0.001 lux (slow shutter) with TRUE Day/Night and Wide Dynamic Range capability.
 
The A-CD5 series is a compact interior vandal dome camera offered with a 2.8-12mm VF AI lens in an aesthetically pleasing high-impact white plastic case, with clear bubble for loss-less video imaging. Flush Mount or UTP (unshielded twisted pair) video transmission models are available.
 
The A-CV5 is a rugged exterior vandal dome camera offered with a 2.8-12mm VF AI lens in aesthetically pleasing white vandal resistant cast aluminum housing, with clear bubble for loss-less video imaging. Flush Mount (A-CVF5D2812UWCH), UTP (A-CV5D2812UWCH and A-CV5D2812UWCUH) (unshielded twisted pair) video transmission or TRUE D/N models (A-CVF5T2812UWCH and A-CV5T2812UWCH) are available and each exterior vandal dome camera includes a built-in 20W (24VAC) heater. The UTP cameras support the Network Video Technologies (NVT) protocol. TRUE D/N operation is accomplished using an optical IR block filter removal circuit.
 
The camera series offers an easy On Screed Display (OSD) for camera set up and programming, Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) which provides a clean video signal for digital video recording and allows more storage capacity, and Back-Light Compensation (BLC) adjustment.
 
The camera series is offered in surface and flush mount configurations determined by the actual part number. The optional VDMWC mount is a versatile mount designed for ceiling and wall mount applications. The mount features an adjustable swivel head for camera positioning and a cable feed-through hole to conceal the video and power cabling. The straight pendent drop down length is 15.5”. The 90° pendent wall mount total drop down length is 10.2” with a wall offset of 8”. The FDCAP is the back shell of the VDMWC. The FDCAP may be installed separately using customer supplied 1” NPT pipe or ¾” EMT conduit with a 1” to ¾” adapter.
