Compact Camera Focus (Backfocus) Adjustment
Camera models: A-C3BPS, A-C4CPS
1. Ensure lens is tightly screwed into backfocus ring. Do not overtighten.
2. Turn the backfocus ring (starting CCW) to bring the picture into focus as clear as possible.
3. While focusing, the lens may "back-out" from the camera to a point that the friction washer is no longer in contact with the camera housing. When this occurs; it will be necessary to add "spring-load' to the friction washer on the lens.
4. To correct, simply remove the lens from the camera, taking care not to drop the washer. Remove the washer from the lens and place a slight bend in the washer. Reinstall washer on lens and reattach lens to camera body and focus.
