Multiple Monitoring Locations
Question: How do I monitor multiple locations?
Answer:
Customer requirements may dictate the monitoring of camera locations (i.e., exterior doors) at two monitor locations. An example would be the installation of a Video Door Phone camera (A-DC3B, A-DC4C) that can be viewed and have the ability to conduct two-way audio communications from the unit to a manager's office and an assistant's office. This is accomplished using two Observation Systems placed in separate locations, and a A-LA800 Line Amplifier. The two monitors will be connected together using a simple 6-pin 2-way phone adapter (and it must be a 6-pin) connected to the monitor output of the line amplifier. The camera to be viewed at both monitor locations is connected to the input of the Line Amplifier. Refer to the diagram below illustrating the system connections.
